Samsonite Tablet Cases
Samsonite offered several tablet cases and protectors that required packaging that would hang on retailer store pegs. The packaging needed to securely hold the product while allowing the consumer to open the product and see how it worked without destroying the packaging. Playing on the curve of the Samsonite brand logo, I echoed this shape onto the front of the package, providing a space for minimal messaging while not covering too much of the product itself. To keep the product secure, an elastic band was fastened into the side edge of the packaging that held the tablet case at its spine.

Samsonite Eco-Glide POP
This set of hang tags played up the sustainability factor in several ways. Use of kraft paper on main hang tag, and custom die cut of supplemental hang tag in the shape of a water bottle helped reinforce the message that the product was made out of recycled materials.

Evenflo POP
Evenflo’s point-of-purchase collateral needed a makeover. Moreover, it needed a scalable, budget-friendly solution to the problem of having to rely on expensive lifestyle photoshoots every time a new product was launched. Using product-agnostic, emotion-invoking lifestyle imagery paired with consumer benefit-focused messaging, we told the consumer “why” they needed this product. On the back of each piece, studio product imagery and feature-focused messaging told “how” the product would deliver. The strategic, clean layout incorporated minimal pops of the brand color to create a clean and elevated look/feel that effectively told each product’s unique story.

Evenflo Gold EveryStage Carton, Quick Start Guide and Product Guide
The EveryStage Car Seat’s carton design followed the clean and simplified brand feel of Evenflo Gold. A product-specific quick start guide, product line introduction card and SensorSafe booklet were also included inside the carton.

Speck Casual Bags
Speck is a brand known for their protective phone cases above all else. When the brand wanted to revamp their casual bag hang tags, several design concepts were explored. One approach utilized technical illustration rather than product photography to highlight certain product features. Another utilized a combination of product photography and illustration, while incorporating the ridged grip lines that are notable in many of Speck’s phone cases with the hope that consumers would easily recognize this extension of the brand across a new category.
